Who we are
LaTLmes is an independent news desk. It is not affiliated with the Los Angeles Times. Its publisher is Anthony Perlas.
What we do
We publish plain, sourced culture, travel and local briefs for Los Angeles readers.
When
We publish briefs as stories develop and post corrections openly.
Where
Los Angeles.
Why
Publisher’s note (opinion; not news coverage). It never decides what we report. Anthony Perlas holds a personal long-term mission: helping life outlast Earth. When our news pages cover that science, they report it as the estimate it is (solar models put Earth’s remaining habitable window at roughly one to two billion years). Life may be rare (an open question). Speculative ideas, such as a superintelligence carrying life elsewhere, are labeled as speculation.
How it works
Send tips through the tip form on latlmes.online. Post corrections, with a source, in the Corrections & sourcing forum.
